What is " deadstock fabric" ?

Every one  of these collections has a beginning.

The beginning can be different for each but the main constant is the designs are shaped around what is known as “end-of-roll” or deadstock fabric,

What is " deadstock fabric"?

Deadstock fabrics are referred to as the “leftovers” of the fashion industry. These are fabrics that either did not go to the intended buyer or were not made into finished garments. Historically, most of these deadstock fabrics have simply been thrown away, eventually making their way into landfills.

Since we are always searching for more sustainable alternatives, deadstock fabric and "end of roll fabrics" are a go-to option.

This environmentally friendly alternative helps create unique collections with a new lifeline for existing fabrics that wouldn't otherwise have been used.

Having a unique collection often means there are 3 or 5 of one colour, and then there will never be any others quite like it. Each piece comes away with its own inimitable charm.

In our summer collection, the Tunic Dress was designed with deadstock fabric and sewn using "end of roll" imitation silk fabric. Only a few exist in each color and size, making them a unique and luxurious option. Darts on the back of these dresses add a bit of structure to the silk. A longer hemline on the back accentuates the colorful details of the fabric and hides a set of pockets in the seam.

Inspired by the spring breeze and sunset over the lake, this dress will take you effortlessly from the beach to dinner and keep going until sunrise.
